Photo Copying Materials No Longer Allowed

Beginning January 1st 2004 Tonner Agencies will no longer permit the photo copying of resource materials.

Copying was only allowed to help small churches offset the cost of materials. However, churches big and small have begun to buy one set and then make copies for everyone in their program. We cannot continue to create and produce these materials if we maintain the copy option as it now exists.

This will cause some hardship for a small number of churches and we apologize in advance for the inconvenience.

Concordance

The Concordance is prepared for CMQ by Paul Ens and contains all of the following: The complete scripture text that has to be memorized each year as prescribed by the Alliance National Quiz Committee. Each verse is on its own line. Key Words are marked by bold print throughout the text. There is a Concordance of Key Words which indicates how many times that word appears in the text the verse reference is listed and that line of text appears with the key word in bold print. There is an Alphabetical Verse List whish lists each verse alphabetically in the text to be memorized. There is also a Key Word / Key Phrase List which list the word or phrase alphabetically, shows the chapter verse and the line of text each on its own line with the word or phrase in bold print. The Concordance is a must for Coaches and every Quizzer interested in International Quizzing.

Scripture Booklet

This is an attractive pocket sized booklet that contains the scripture to be memorized with Key Words in bold print. If any key word appears more than once through the text it is in italics. There is a Key Verse or Club 145 list, followed by an Alphabetical Verse List. Key Words in this list are in bold print. Small ">> "marks indicate for the quizzer the point in the verse where they should be able to jump in order to be competitive in a quiz. Each verse is on a separate line and the chapter verse reference is given. This is followed by a Key Word list complete with the chapter verse reference. This key word list is organized alphabetically Every quizzer should have a scripture booklet unless they have a concordance listed above. We recommend that the quizzer memorize from one source only.

Study Aid

The Study Aid breaks the quiz material into weekly sections including reviews. Each section includes a short bible study based on each weeks material, ten to twenty questions of various types arranged so that over the year the quizzer will learn twenty of each type of question. This should be enough to allow the quizzer to get at least one question per quiz. Each section also includes a place to record the time each quizzer spends daily studying. The coach can use this to encourage the quizzer as a little each day will place the studied material into long term memory. Cramming places the material into short term memory. There is also word games at the end of each weeks material. There is a comniitment page and a phone number page included. The commitment page allows the quizzer to commit to answering X number of questions per quiz or trying for Internationals etc. The phone number page gives the quizzer a place to collect phone numbers of quizzers their own age and when they learn one verse they can call one of their quiz fiiends when they learn two verses they call two. This will encourage the quizzer learning the material and those receiving the calls.
