Club Challenges

Testing or Challenge for Club 150

  • Print off the Club 150 verse list. Cut the list into each individual verse. If you have a large team, you may want to print multiple lists.
  • Put all of the slips of paper into a container (Ziplock bag, a small container with a lid, or envelope) and label container Club 150.
  • Have quizzer draw out 15 verses at random. The test is now ready to begin.
  • Of the 15 verses: at least five must be quoted and the remaining can be Finish-The-Verse (quizzer is given the first five words and then must complete the verse). Verses are to be completed word perfectly.
  • Five helps may be given. A help is a word or two to assist the quizzer in completing their verse.
  • If the quizzer is able to recite all 15 verses, they have passed the test and will receive a reward for their hard work!! If the quizzer is out of helps, and cannot finish the verses selected, they do not pass. However, the test can be taken as many times as it takes to pass. If a re-take(s) is needed, all verses are placed back in the container and are selected again.

There is no time limit for the test. Use your discretion with helps. Sometimes it is best for the quizzer to retest another day after they have spent some time reviewing. Testing is a great time to use volunteers that excel in the encouragement department. Some quizzers need a lot of extra love and encouragement when testing!
