Regina WCC Registrations & Billets

Just a reminder that registrations are due tomorrow, Tuesday, April 22 for the upcoming quiz meet in Regina May 2-4. Thank you to everyone who has registered already. Please get your registrations in on time to assist with the planning of the quiz meet.

It looks like we will have enough rooms on campus for the girls and the female chaperons and we are working on obtaining enough billet homes for the boys and coaches in Regina. If any coaches or officials have friends or relatives in Regina that they could make arrangements to stay with, it would help with our billeting situation. Please indicate this on your registration form. Thank you.

Regina May Quiz Meet Registration Information

The final quiz meet of the Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, and Colossians quizzing year will be held May 2-4 at Western Christian High School in Regina. Registration will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday at WCHS. The meet will conclude with awards on Sunday afternoon at approximately 4:00 p.m. The cost will be $45 per person.

REGISTRATIONS ARE DUE TUESDAY, APRIL 22, 2008. Please download and fill out the registration form and email it to the registration email address. Make sure to list the number of teams in each division

Question material content includes all of Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, and Colossians with 20 question quizzes in the A, B, and C divisions. This will be the final district meet of the GEPC quizzing year with 45% of the “A” quizzers personal averages going towards their overall year average. Quizzers need to bring sleeping bags, pillows, and towels as well any personal items required for the meets. Luggage needs to be identified with each quizzer’s name and church group.

Erin Petty, officials’ coordinator, would appreciate knowing about any adults coming to the meet that would be available to help with some of the officiating as scorekeepers or answer judges. For this meet, the registration cost for answer judges and scorekeepers is $20 to help cover the cost of the meals.

We are still working out the final details for the social. Information regarding the social will be posted on the website at a later date.

This year we hope to billet all of the female quizzers on campus. The male quizzers and coaches will be billeted off campus. We will require female adults to chaperon the dorms. If you have female adults available to be billeted on campus, please indicate this on your registration form. Also, if you know of any Regina homes available to take billets, please contact Corinne Lynnes from Westhill Park.

Awards will be presented for Club 145, Club 300, and Grade 12 quizzers. Coaches, please contact Ernie Munchinsky with the awards information for your quizzers by WEDNESDAY, APRIL 9. We need to know the name and number of years in quizzing for each Grade 12 quizzer plus the number of Club 145 and Club 300 awards for your quizzing group. Ernie’s contact information is available on the CMQ directory. If you do not have access to a directory, please send the information to the quiz.registrations email address below.

If you have questions or concerns with completing the registration form, please contact Angela Davis. My number is available in the directory.
