Final Districts at WCC

Thankyou coaches for getting those registrations in so early. As we look at the final numbers to be billeted we have to make other arrangements for the Regina teams. Due to the condition of the main men's dorm roof we are not able to use that building at all. This means that we have a lot less total room space than we need. Unfortunately we will have to ask ALL the Regina quizzers and coaches to stay in their own homes and not use up the billet spaces for out of towners at WCC. If some Regina quizzers would like to host other quizzers from outside the city, please make arrangements with your coach to contact Shannon Smith who is coordinating the billeting for this meet. They will need to arrange transportation with a reliable adult if they want to host people. Also if there are coaches in Regina who could arrange for billeting out of your church for some adults that would be greatly appreciated as well. Please contact Shannon. Please remember to bring sleeping bags, personal items etc and have everything labelled with your name and church.

Registration will begin Friday night at 6:30 and we anticipate quizzing at 8 pm. Cost is $45. There will be 20 question quizzes and of course all of Romans and James. The meet will conclude on Sunday afternoon around 4 pm after the final quizzes and awards.

The booklets on Acts are printed and will be for sale for $3.50 each at WCC. Please buy enough for your group in the fall as we don't have any person in charge of mailing and distributing them.

Still looking for singing/instrument special numbers for our Sunday morning service. Please contact Tom & Judy or Shannon to let us know if your kids are willing to participate.

Congratulations to all the quizzers who went to Great West. They placed third, fourth, sixth, eighth, and tenth. It was decided that Harvest Hills will again host Great West next year on the weekend of the Easter Holidays so everyone can plan on those dates. They did a wonderful job of hosting that meet and a great time was had by all those who attended.

JUST A REMINDER

Please let Tammy Fedorak know how many club 145 and 300 ribbons you anticipate needing for your quizzers. She needs to order them on Monday. Also email Josh Knowles about numbers for the talent night at our Final Quiz Meet May 5-7 at WCC. The cost will be $45 the same as last year and the registration will be up next week.
