Canadian Midwest Wins Internationals

Captain Shea Durston of CMD 2 grabbed the final question in overtime of the fourth championship quiz to capture the 2005 title. Congratulations to Shea--8th place individual & quizzing excellence award winner, Josh, Deborah, Ashley, Dallas and coaches Trish and Curtis for terrific quizzing. CMD 1 also quizzed well in the championship round placing 6th place overall. Thanks to Aaron H, Nate, Ryan, Aaron M, Blake and coaches Jamie and Steve for all their hard work. Many parents, family and friends including a dedicated group from Avalon made the trip to Calgary to enjoy a fantastic quizzing finals July 7-11. Another highlight was the generous response from the International body to a CMQ Quebec/Cuba quizzing promotion.
