Russell Meet Update

Our first district quiz meet Jan 30-Feb 1 is a go in spite of the very cold week of weather we've experienced. A weather disturbance from the southwest bringing snow and wind is a real matter of concern for prayer as to which areas receive the snowfall. The good news is that the weather for the weekend will not be as cold but we encourage everyone to take extra precautions as far as passengers dressing warm and perhaps leaving in good time Friday to stay ahead of the incoming conditions. The social at the Asessippi ski area is still on as the hill has different activities (tubing is warmer)-- there will be lots of hot chocolate and games in the lodge as well.

A few hotel rooms in Russell have become available. Immediately contact Tom & Judy if interested. For those prebooked on the charter busses remember the times St'oon CDA lot by 12:30 and Regina Living Hope lot by 3:15 pm Friday.

Good News

Wonderful answers to prayer this morning for the Dueck family and Steve Vincent. Check prayer needs and out of District links before you leave tomorrow.

Quizzing Ministry Team to Quebec

The travelling dates of April 22-26/04 will allow more preparation time for a promotional group of close to 10 people to get ready to go. This team will probably visit 3 cities with possibly 4 presentations of testimonies and quizzing. Earlier CMQ committee learned through your coaches of a 1/2 dozen french speaking (core french and immersion) quizzers who were interested in going. Are there any others? For more details be ready to contact the committee at the Russell quiz meet for an interview. For now please email Tom Vincent (email tjvincent@sasktel.net) if you are interested even if you notified us before. We look forward to hearing from you and having our CMQ family begin praying for this great venture.
